The operational time will be the same for all three days:  0900 – 1630 hrs

Official Team Photo:  Will be taken on Day 1 before we fire the first shot.

Each day will start with three NMC’s • an “NRA Approved 900” match followed by another three NMC’s for the purpose of developing endurance and adding targets to your NRA/Winchester Distinguished Expert Awards • handgun & pistol.  Please bring a pen and note taking material.

Lunch break.  After lunch, on Day 1, we will talk about your preparation for coming to a match and equipment check, how to set up your gear on the line and mental preparation to begin firing followed by speed drills.

After lunch on Day 2, we will develop a shot plan for some and review the shot plans of the experienced shooters.  Drills, drills, drills!  Followed by an open discussion on competition shooting.  What will it take to get me to the next level?

After lunch on Day 3, we will clean pistols . . . . the correct way . . . . . yes, it will take three plus hours to do it right.  Bring your cleaning kits and an apron or old shirt because you will “splatter” solvent all over the front of you.  Leave your jewelry at home today.  Note:  Check your cleaning supplies inventory BEFORE you come to camp.  I have plenty of inventory to fill in what you are missing so let me know in advance and I will have it there for you.

Awards:  Certificates will be awarded to all shooters.  IJPS medals will be awarded to the high four Grand Aggregate juniors.

Cost:  $100.00 per shooter which includes lunch each day and the NRA match fees.

Housing:  We have a special rate ($60.00) at Budget Inn & Suites, 1705 North Bloomington Street, (815) 672-0080, just North of the Sandy Ford indoor range.    “Rocky” is the General Manager.  I will be staying overnight Wednesday and Thursday evenings.   This is an excellent property with a Continental breakfast, swimming pool, and Wi-Fi.  Please make you own room reservations.  Lots of good places to eat near the motel.
